My name is Nicholas Wood, I am an interactive designer and flash developer currently based at WAI in the UK. Since graduating in 2005 I have been fortunate enough to work on projects for a number of leading brands and clients in the UK and US including A&E Television, Condé Nast, The Guardian, The Telegraph Media Group, Country House Magazine, and Jetix. This is a collection of my recent and most memorable work.

As part of a new strategy the creative team were asked to design a number of component based templates for the property team to present to potential clients. Based around three concepts we each developed our own fully customisable designs to suit the potential requirements of our property clients.

This site was created to accompany the By Any Means program and the travels of Charlie Boorman on his latest expedition from London, England to Sydney, Australia. It is designed an online community extreme travellers; allowing users to research, map and share their travelling experiences with other users, through blogs, images, video and mapping.

The History Channel UK approached World Archipelago to redesign and develop TheHistoryChannel.co.uk site for 2008. During the creative process we were aboe to create a series of styles and designs. Although not chosen by the client in favour of one of our other creative approaches I found this to be one of favourite designs.

This was my reintroduction to illustratiion combining a number of assets including a collection of my own hand drawn elements.

Country House approached World Archipelago Internet to create a dynamic and sharply styled site to accompany their publication. During the initial phase of the project I was responsible for providing creative directions for the homepage of the site, this was the selected design.

As part of an advertising campaign for the new Ford Mondeo, The Telegraph Media Group created a competition asking entrants to create a short film based on the theme of "Dynamics". This was one of the creatives put to the client as part of a showcase from which the final creative direction was chosen.
